The Global Composition 2026: Connective Resonance for (Post)Humans takes place from 3–6 September 2026 across venues in Dieburg and Darmstadt.

The program includes keynote lectures, paper sessions, artistic contributions, workshops, performances, concerts, installations, sound walks, excursions, and plenary discussions. Day 0 – Wednesday, 2 September
The conference begins with an optional Day 0 for participants arriving before the official opening on 3 September.
Selected events of the program includes:

Main Conference Program – 3 – 6 September
The main conference program begins on Thursday, 3 September and includes parallel paper sessions, keynote lectures, workshops, artistic contributions, performances, concerts, sound walks, and plenary discussions.

Special Events
Club of the Future
Saturday, 5 September | 18:00 – approx. 22:00 | Centralstation Darmstadt
The program continues at Centralstation Darmstadt following the conference sessions on Saturday afternoon. Participants will travel from the conference venue to Centralstation. More detailed commute plans will be provided soon.
The Club of the Future begins with an immersive sound installation and interactive sonic environment before continuing with Urban Resonances, a live performance by Mookee, and live visuals.
